SUPERBAT is an excellent training to face the challenges and opportunities that an increasingly sustainable society demands.
Over the course of these 3 days (26 hours), students and researchers will gain knowledge on a variety of topics of interest, including:
Lithium-ion and next-generation batteries (sodium, magnesium, calcium, redox flow, metal-sulfur, and solid-state lithium-metal)
Liquid and solid electrolytes
Supercapacitors and hybrid-ion capacitors
Electrode processing, battery assembly, prototyping, and life cycle assessments
Characterization methods (from ex-situ to operando), including electrochemical, (X-ray & neutron) diffraction, microscopy, and spectroscopy techniques
Theoretical calculations/Modelling
This program aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of these critical topics in the field.
